Learning Objectives - by the end of the virtual workshop, international students will:
- Gain an understanding of the MBTI framework and its cultural context.
- Explore the four MBTI dichotomies (Extraversion/Introversion, Sensing/Intuition, Thinking/Feeling, Judging/Perceiving).
- Reflect on their own preferences and how these may align with an MBTI type.
- Learn how MBTI types influence communication and group dynamics, especially in multicultural or remote settings.
- Develop strategies for using personality awareness to enhance teamwork and academic collaboration in person or online.
Learning Outcomes - after completing the session, international students will be able to:
- Describe the core components of the MBTI model and its purpose in understanding personality.
- Identify their own MBTI type or type preferences and explain how these relate to their personal and cultural experiences.
- Recognize how personality differences may affect virtual collaboration, communication styles, and group work.
- Apply MBTI insights to adapt their approach in multicultural teams and remote academic settings.
