Learning Objectives - by the end of the virtual workshop, international students will:

  1. Gain an understanding of the MBTI framework and its cultural context.
  2. Explore the four MBTI dichotomies (Extraversion/Introversion, Sensing/Intuition, Thinking/Feeling, Judging/Perceiving).
  3. Reflect on their own preferences and how these may align with an MBTI type.
  4. Learn how MBTI types influence communication and group dynamics, especially in multicultural or remote settings.
  5. Develop strategies for using personality awareness to enhance teamwork and academic collaboration in person or online.

Learning Outcomes - after completing the session, international students will be able to: 

  1. Describe the core components of the MBTI model and its purpose in understanding personality.
  2. Identify their own MBTI type or type preferences and explain how these relate to their personal and cultural experiences.
  3. Recognize how personality differences may affect virtual collaboration, communication styles, and group work.
  4. Apply MBTI insights to adapt their approach in multicultural teams and remote academic settings.
  5. Engage more effectively with peers from diverse backgrounds using empathy and self-awareness
