Does Sweden ave the Blueprint for Career-Family Synergy?
The "Swedish model" is frequently cited as the gold standard for balancing professional ambition with family life, yet its practical application remains widely debated. For many professionals in Europe, the choice between career advancement and raising children still feels like a zero-sum game.
In this one-hour session, we provide a focused overview of the Swedish approach to parental leave, education, and childcare. Rather than just listing social benefits, we analyse how these structures function as a support system for career continuity. We will compare these possibilities with other European models to discuss what actually works and how systemic differences impact professional trajectories.
