What you will learn:
General communication skills are fundamental for science communication. The first day of the training will, therefore, focus on what science communication is and how it can be used to convey science and research projects to a broad audience. You will learn the do’s and don’ts of science communication, how to effectively communicate your work and have the opportunity to create a best-case example of science communication.
The second day of the training will focus on improving your science blogging skills. Blogging is one way to explain and visualize your research to non-scientists. It involves explaining your work with a limited set of words in a comprehensible way, which often means simplifying scientific vocabulary. You will learn how to write and structure a blog post and successfully create a blog.
